So you're OK with the default being "if GnuTLS doesn't exist, then break
the build", but you're not OK with the default being "if GnuTLS doesn't
exist, then print a warning and build without it"?  I don't see how
Cendio is really affected either way, because you guys aren't using
GnuTLS.  Thus, you're going to be in the position of manually disabling
GnuTLS anyhow.  It's really the people who are actively using GnuTLS who
will be affected by this, so IMO, those are the ones who should decide.
 I cast my vote in favor of keeping things the way they are-- that is,
automatically enabling GnuTLS if detected, but printing out a status
message so that it's very clear that it is enabled, and providing an
option to manually disable it.  I think that, minimally, Martin and Adam
should weigh in on this.
