What you decide to do about it (if anything) is up to you.  I'm just
expressing that the 3D community definitely wants true double buffering,
and such is not present in the current release of TigerVNC.  The easiest
way to fix it, even if it's just a short-term fix, is to add a new
configuration parameter.  Personally, I don't buy the argument that it's
necessary to put a timeout on FBU's, and I'm not sure how you would go
about automating such a thing.  I certainly don't buy the argument that
adding a new configuration parameter is such a big deal if it gives
users an option for true double buffering.  You're more or less trying
to automate it already, and it isn't working, hence the bug report.
However, none of that is my problem.  I just filed the bug report as a
courtesy.  Talk amongst yourselves.
