We have recently fixed a crash bug: https://sourceforge.net/p/tigervnc/bug-tracker/97/ No binaries have yet been released though. Support for Windows 7 service mode is currently being worked on. > Finally, I'd like to say that if you add these two features to the Windows > server, there would be no competition from any other server: > > (a) automatic self-signed certificate generation > (b) authentication with Windows credentials > > I am not a Windows user myself, but I can see a real demand for security from > Windows users, and all they have if they would like to use > their Windows credentials to connect is UltraVNC which currently has no > Android support for its encryption scheme, and SSH tunneling, which > relatively difficult to set up on Windows. As we discussed recently on this list, there are no active developers which are interested in the Windows server. Bountysource can be used for "outsourcing" bug fixes but also development of new features. However, this requires that someone clearly defines and describes the bug/feature and also reviews code & claims. Anyone could be that "someone", so if you want, feel free to create a Sourceforge Ticket and also consider creating a bounty at Bountysource.com. You can start with a minimum amount and then wait for others to contribute.
