I found the patch mentioned in this thread and grabbed it, but can't figure out 
where the file lives that it's meant to patch. It looks like maybe the patch is 
applied at the SVN level or something and I need to reinstall TigerVNC from 
scratch - is that correct? Or can I just patch my existing install?

I'm running RHEL6 and just grabbed the Tiger package from the package manager 
app and found myself with the same problem as all the other folks having shift 
or alt key troubles.
