Hello,

TigerVNC's viewervnc works great (much better than tightvnc's one, which
I've been told was the old version).

However, it is still emitting these annoying beeps at some moments (when I
start the viewer, when I open the "Connection Info" or "About TigerVNC
viewer" dialogs, etc...

I'm using TigerVNC Viewer 64-burs v1.2.0 (20120717) on ArchLinux.

Is there a way to disable that? I tried to Google for that, but I only find
a message regarding how to fix a system beep not working. And there is
nothing in the man page regarding sound or beeps.

I tried to mute the "Beep" channel for my Sound Card (using alsamixer), to
no avail.

The beeps are very loud and actually hurtful... If you have any idea, they
would be very appreciated.

Thanks for your help,
Mathieu.
