Sorry, in the scheme of things the [EMAIL PROTECTED] code is actually quite 
easy to
understand. Have you tried? There is much much much worse code out
there.

Then you are going to be waiting a very long time because *no-one*
here "did most of the work". The people who hack on it occasionally do
not know significantly more than you do. There is no-one here to
educate you because no-one can. You will just have to do what
everybody else did and figure it out... And ask on specific questions
on #osm and hope someone knows.

Bad code is hard to read without extensive comments. I don't think [EMAIL 
PROTECTED]
is bad code... Not perfect, but not bad either.
