I had a look at that patch, and couldn't really wrap my head around why it would work. I discussed the projection stuff with 80n a while ago, and iirc he had tried making those calculations more accurate without seeing any improvements in the output, so I'm not sure that's the way to go to fix the problem. It might perhaps be feasible to actually do proper projection in osmarender by creating a template that does the projection calculation and then getting x/y from it everywhere we need them. Anybody see any glaring mistakes with this? This would probably break [EMAIL PROTECTED] in interesting ways, given that it does some workarounds for osmarenders lack of projection, so some reengineering of the client is probably also needed. I have plenty other things to do before I'll have time to look at this, so if anybody wants it fast it's a good time to start looking at the xslt :) -- Knut Arne Bjørndal aka Bob Kåre [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
