I have 8 gigs of RAM, and sizes of hung Inkscapes have been somewhere
between 1,5 and 2,5 GiB for me. But, when using such large amounts of
memory, to whatever purpose, memory management must be implemented
properly. I, as a programmer, cherish good-quality code over speed.*

About Inkscape and Batik... Which one renders faster, and which one uses
less memory doing so?
