Hello,

I'm quite new to the project and I don't know if I misconfigured something.
But I would guess it is a bug.

I run multiple instances of ./tilesGen.pl loop and they start and run just
fine. But after a while it stops suddenly. The inkscape processes do not
finish their job. There is no CPU load going on for them, no networking, no
disk IO, it just "blocks" some Gigabyte of RAM and freezes.
If I then kill the inkscape processes the titlesGen.pl recovers and starts
over with a new workunit. But as it is unpredictable when the freeze
happens, it is a very bad situation.
I played with the MaxTilesetComplexity and set it to 20000000 and 1000000
and other numbers, but it happens again.

My system setup:
- Ubuntu 10.4 LTS with latest patches which means there is Inkscape 0.47
r22583 (Apr 4 2010) installed.
- 2 AMD Opteron Quad-Core
- 16 GB RAM where 14 GB are free for rendering

is there something I can check why that happens?

Marcel
