fellow time-nuts,
there is a hard, clear conformal coating on one of the buffer/divider
boards in my FTS 4050/S24. i wish to make some changes to the board to
get back the 10MHz output that was removed with option /S24.
to do so, first i need to get this coating off in a few areas.
anyone know what this coating might be and/or how to remove it?
i've tried isopropyl alchocol, acetone, and mg 435 (aka 2-propanone),
but none seem to work very well. i was too chicken to leave any of them
on the board for very long.
