I used a SIA-3000 in FFT mode for phase noise measurements, they really are not that great for that purpose. Don't think we can get down to -130dBc at 10Hz with accuracy. No prob :) I suspect that replacing the simple Vectron 100MHz OCXO with a more modern, lower noise Wenzel etc could improve the instruments performance.
