Robert Thanks for your comments on the PSU, and I would certainly agree with you that they are nasty beasts to work on, and I cannot find a faulty component yet ! But I am fortunate in having been offered another 325, this I will have to wait for, but in the meanwhile I have a brand new (different manufacturer) SMPS to hand, and will use this in the short term. I had thought that to maintain the "support" DC supply circuitry that is part of the original PSU, was a good idea, as my Ball/Efratom Rubidium has its own 24 volt support system - but this could obviously be achieved another way. I must say the 325 had begun to settle down and perform very well - I still think that its a worthwhile unit.
