Quality and design still play a large factor as I replaced several 12V RV bulbs 
with new White High-Intensity LEDs and they all failed within the first 60 days.

Many of them are still happily emitting their faint red or green light.

Actually, that's not entirely correct:  They had reliability info
on transistors and they sucked.
