Bob, I too feel well behind most everyone here but I am trying to keep up. I am looking to build a GPSDO as a second reference to my Z3816A. I have been looking at several possibilities including using a HP 105B as the oscillator and building a comparator circuit to control the unit (TAPR boards perhaps) as well as Brooks Shera's circuit using a spare 10811 as the oscillator.
I would very much like to see your schematic. You can send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks, Joe -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bob Q Sent: Thursday, June 19, 2008 9:58 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [time-nuts] Simple GPS 10 MHz frequency standard I think everyone on this discussion board is way ahead of me, but if anyone's interested I have a simple, analog PLL, GPS 10 MHz standard design that I just built. It uses a Motorola Oncore M12+ with the output set to 100 Hz instead of 1 PPS. I have only checked it by using a free-running 10 MHz OCXO and my 'scope. It looks to be stable to a few parts in 10^9. Let me know if you're interested, I'll be happy to send the schematic. Meanwhile, I'll keep reading and learning.
