Opening guess- a microwave isolator, the third port being a 50 ohm load rather than a short to ground? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circulator Problem is they tend to be relatively narrow band (say 5%) so I have an expanding junk box that never quite has the one that would be useful !
