It is perhaps phrased best as a Jeopardy question. (Jeopardy is a TV
game show in which the answers are phrased as questions to match the
questions which are phrased as answers.)

Q: 31556925.252202
A: What is the orbital period of the Earth in seconds?

Q: It depends on a lot of things political and earthly
A: How many seconds are there in a year?

It is indeed amusing how the word "year" so muddies this simple
parameter of celestial mechanics, by inserting politics into the
question.
