I would prefer the Polaris Guide, for systems/customers where DAGR
compatibility is important, but where its not practical/possible to source
the DAGR. I am sure the Guide is way overpriced for "normal" use.

I would check the antenna types to be tested at home with a new Garmin to
see if the antennas work with below spec DC voltage.

Perhaps a bias-T and a small chargeable batterypack can give the right
antenna voltage?
