Fellow time-nuts,
Has anyone done a detailed compare on the difference between a Ashtech
Z12 and Z12T?
I know the basic plot is that the external reference is inserted in
place of the internal 20 MHz rather than being PLL locked up. So my
questions are:
1) Is that it? Is this the only real difference?
2) How is it achieved in reality? Just how much effort would it be to
mod a Z12 to a Z12T?
Not being able to compare I just ask the questions openly. Anybody has a
Z12T to lend me for a peak inside?
