SCSI came in many cable flavors back then. Be sure to get the right kind!

Sun used big DD-50 connectors that were incompatible with anything else. The Macintosh used a DB-25, but the aftermarket drives often had the "standard" 50 pin telephone style connector (the 50 pin version of the "Centronics" printer connector).

Then there were both 50 and 68 pin high density connectors, which were smaller.
