New Topic: In case anyone on the list is interested, a friend (really!) has a complete Navy General Radio LR-1 frequency standard with original manual that he wants out of the way. It's a WW2 standard with a 100 kHz ovenized crystal oscillator and an interpolator/heterodyne scheme. Prob is the thing weighs about 150 lb. Remember that electronics was sold by the pound to the armed forces in the good ol' days? I took apart a "mobile" SCR-545 radar oncet and it had cast brass chassis (!). Anyhow, let me know if you're interested... Don
