That's interesting, in neither 1v38 nor 1v53 could I find an  optionto to 
specify a Com port so I just assumed it would have an "auto  find" facility 
as per GPSMon.
Once I'd run DSPMon it created an INI file, albeit with some incorrect  
info, and it was editting the INI file that eventually got me up and running,  
although I still think something else had changed first as I commented  
earlier.
Perhaps I changed something inadvertently whilst wandering around in GPSMon 
 with the Min-T connected.
I'll email 1v53 direct after sending this but it's also onTrimble's ftp  
site, which is always a fun place for a wander anyway:-)....
