At Microwave Update last week, Hangar 18 Surplus ( http://www.hangar18surplus.com ) had a really clean looking, late-production Tek 497P on their table for $2500. That would be a really good match for what you're asking for. I was surprised it didn't sell -- you might call them and see if they still have it.
