Matt,
I should know better than to forget to get the guy's phone number or address, flea markets are notorious dumping grounds for garbage.

Matt,
It's been modified. I was told that when I bought it, and confirmed it myself. I don't get the right voltages; I need a new RS-232 interface chip.
Did you double-check the mod to ensure that the 0-ohm chip resistors came off
in addition to the jumper changes?

I've managed to have a "dead" 3801A due to a bad mod I did once on one of my 9 or so units, which is why this is always what comes to mind now.
