The NI 232CV-A doesn't use any drivers, it is simply a protocol converter. 
Anyway the manual, available online, contains enough info on using it. I've 
used it to interface both HP and Fluke instruments successfully. I think you 
should be able to talk and listen to a 5370A. Read the manual.

(The NI 232CT-A instead may or may not use standard NI drivers, upon user 
choice).
