I can program/re-program here in NZ. I was keeping quiet because I wanted to have a go building one before ordering 10 or so boards with the Wellington VHF Group as a SIG activity.

I thought what I'd do is program up a couple I have on hand and get them in the post to you. That way, you should have them when your ready to build. The only downside I can see is that with so many people building these TICs, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some rapid changes to the code. Given the price of the PICs, I guess there is no real problem having a spare set that can be rotated.
