Brings back memories- I was on the west coast of the south island in 1990, leaning against a large log on the beach very close to the water line at sunset, when a quake hit. Being from California, it was fun because I was used to experiencing quakes in buildings, cars, etc; but I had never felt one in such a "natural" setting. Kind of hard to explain, but it was a very other-worldly experience.

This was designed and produced by Paul Nicholls of the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. http://www.christchurchquakemap.co.nz/ Steve -- Steve Rooke - ZL3TUV & G8KVD The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once. - Einstein _______________________________________________ time-nuts mailing list -- time-nuts@febo.com To unsubscribe, go to https://www.febo.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/time-nuts and follow the instructions there. _______________________________________________ time-nuts mailing list -- time-nuts@febo.com To unsubscribe, go to https://www.febo.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/time-nuts and follow the instructions there.
