I just re-upped the original 200dpi scans that i did of the manual. Opens fine in Adobe Reader 9 on Win7. Also opened with Preview and Adobe on OSX. Should be good to go if the transfer isn't corrupted.

The file header looks good, but I have found that the pdf viewers are finicky 
if even a small part of the file is missing or messed up.
