Hi All, The item is indeed the "zebra strip".
Alignment is pretty good (I think) as the case ensures it. So it sounds like it might need a clean. I shall look into that one... Postscript... Just searched the world for DeoxIT and it turns out the local Australian supplier has a shop 50m from where I work. Yeah!!
