High dielectric "constant" comes at a high price performance wise. :)

You gain some, you loose some. Temperature performance and linearity.
It should not come as a surprise if you start to think about what happens on the atomic/molecular level of dielectrics, it's a combination of electrostatics and "mechanical" stress.
