Paul is right! NO WD40, wrong stuff!!!!!! The chips can be reseated by GENTLY twisting the baords and pushing the chips back into the sockets (I know, but it works. note gently!), or just firmly pushing on the chips first on one end and then the other. I've also observes chips with one pin buckled during manufacture insertion that managed to work and then lose connection, so look carefully at pin engagement. Don
