I have been playing with several different programmers as I learn this craft. The take home lesson so far has been if you are dealing with 'precious data', use a programmer that is specific for your chip. To further test the programmer, take your saved file and program a new set of EPROM's and see if they work in your equipment. If so, sounds like you did it correctly.
