In the real world the FCC will figure that as long as car navigation
GPS still work 85% of the time that is "good enough". I bet they
give LightSquared what they want except that they'll be required to
keep a 10MHz offset for the first five years (about the life span of
most consumer electronics)

The GPS coalition should make a TV movie about leakage from LightSquared
causing an airliner to crash. Perhaps throw in an attractive young family
perishing on back roads because their GPS was shellacked.
BTW, Lightspeed makes headphones for pilots. LightSquared is the GPS
nemisis.
