Hi I would agree that it's a limit alarm - except, I've seen the alarm come on when the DAC was at 0.5V.

The manual indicates that if this happens the oscillator will probably be at its control limit within two years. The tbolt firmware does not attempt to estimate the oscillator aging rate. The alarm is based only upon the control voltage value.
