Speaking of eBay, does anyone have had experience with the Chinese 53132 counter lookalikes? They are SCPI compliant with the HP gold standard, 12 digits/s, 375MHz on A/B channels and 6GHz with standard C channel.
Berkeley Nucleonics sells under BNC1105 model, picotest as U6200A, Acquitek as U6200A, and I'm sure Burger King could strike a deal with the original manufacturer and sell it a the Whopper Counter (do you want fries with that?) Specifications are a nudge better, but grains of salt are called for - HP usually has very good manufacturing margins on their specs, and build things to last longer than most refrigerators. These counters are sold by the 're-branders' for around $2500, and there's an eBay listing from Singapore (original maker or cheaper branding operation) at $1230. Has anyone used one, do they live up to the printed specs? _______________________________________________ time-nuts mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe, go to https://www.febo.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/time-nuts and follow the instructions there.
