Sounds resonable to me for a piece of professional software. I know of companies that have closed protocols on their instruments and charge hundreds of dollars for clunky, buggy software that only works with an instrument you already paid thousands for. Another trick is odd connectors and "special" i.e. expensive leads. You pay your money and make your choice. Robert G8RPI.
