No, we have not made any serious attempt at cross-checking the GPS
time transfer system with something which is *independent* of GPS.

What have been done is PTB used their traveling GPS receiver, a GTR 50 receiver, with a GPS-702 antenna and a bundled SR-620 counter. There is a report from that exercise.
