Brooke, IIRC the unit is specified to operate from 200 to 1100 nm and the grating gives about a 200 nm wide swath across the CCD. It is my understanding that it is possible to place that 200 nm sensing width anywhere within that overall range. When I get home tonight I can tell you these numbers more accurately, plus where I moved one of my units to.
These are amazing little instruments, IMHO, especially for the price. Peter On 01/23/12, Brooke Clarke<[email protected]> wrote: Hi John: Can you elaborate on the "change the wavelength limits"? I sure would like to be able to see into the near IR or near UV range. http://www.prc68.com/I/ML-OSA.shtml#HR2000 Have Fun, Brooke Clarke http://www.PRC68.com http://www.end2partygovernment.com/Brooke4Congress.html J.
