But comparing "new with warranty" to "used" isn't necessarily a fair comparison. What you're essentially doing is trading your labor (to potentially make repairs) and risk for money, so the trade between the two is highly dependent on your risk acceptance posture and your labor costs.

It's also important if you need more than a "one-off" system.
