Gives a pretty good idea of what a 5000 is. Simple answer- it's a front end and all the work is done in the PDP-8. I think PHK's gizmo would be the better bet to get something running easily. I might even go dust off a 2100F that *somebody* from Austron sold me back in 1983. It's still got the "demo unit" stickers on it..
