The government sanctioning a proprietary modulation scheme isn't without
precedent. Dolby stereo in the old analog TV. That annoying IBOC scheme
used for digital FM and AM. [It is QRM.]
Of course do I approve of this? Hell no. Form a committee and define a
standard.
