I see that William Riley ( author of Stable32) has published a book on
Rubidium Standards. Has anyone seen a copy? Any reviews?

I don't have any connection to Mr. Riley or Lulu Marketplace. Can't even
afford his software! :-(

I ordered both the Rubidium Frequency Standard Primer and the Hanbook of Frequency Stability Analysis. Today I picked them up.

The Rubidium primer looks comprehensive and lots of nice photos. I will have to read it to make a more qualitative evaluation of it. Some of the illustrations where fuzzy, so there could be some improvement on the picture material. It is relatively rich on photos, both of units and components. Looks promising. Might not be the definite reference for the experts, but will sure be a handy collection of things and also a great index for the 358 references.

I'll have another 5065A to get into operational order. Guess I'll try fixing the last thing as I need to turn of the lights in the lab anyway... :)

Cheers,
Magnus
