While looking for something else in the archives, I saw mention of the following book by a list member:
Experimentation: An introduction to measurement theory and experiment design, By D.C. Baird. I found an online, limited preview and it seemed very readable, so I decided to purchase the book. If anyone is interested, AbeBooks has several used copies listed for very little. I bought a copy for $3.95, shipped. It sure beats the $45 Amazon wants for a new copy. As to the "something else" that I was looking for in the archives, I haven't found it yet. TVB said that he was going to put together a primer on ADEV and such (this was in February). From my few years on this list, I have found that anything that Tom puts together is definitely worth reading. Can someone point me to this information?
