Thank you. I was thinking of contacting HMRC. One issue is that the
seller undervalued the item. I did not ask him to, but he valued it at
$1000, not $2750. He no doubt saved on the shipping cost doing that,
but it also means I *only* paid duty on $1000, but that is still quite
a bit of money.
