It is still up there transmitting though. Perhaps it won't turn off :)

Just because you receive PRN 27 does not mean that SVN 27 is transmitting it. Checking modern status and NANU at
http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/?Do=constellationstatus

discloses:

2013031

NOTICE ADVISORY TO NAVSTAR USERS (NANU) 2013031
SUBJ: SVN66 (PRN27) LAUNCH JDAY 135

NANU DTG: 152256Z MAY 2013

2. GPS SATELLITE SVN66 (PRN27) WAS LAUNCHED ON JDAY 135.
A USABINIT NANU WILL BE SENT WHEN THE SATELLITE IS SET ACTIVE TO SERVICE.

3. POC: CIVILIAN - NAVCEN AT 703-313-5900, HTTP://WWW.NAVCEN.USCG.GOV

[email protected]

so SVN66 now has PRN27.

Cheers,
Magnus
