Time-nutters-- Somewhere I have seen a commercial ( Symmetricon--?) GPS antenna that was made with the active elements mounted over a rather large diameter (30 or 40 cm ??) flat plane surface fabricated from some sort of material that absorbed and attenuated all GPS reflected signals.
If this technique is effective, it might be worth home-brewing to investigate the results...?
