This plug in for Eudora seems to work on incoming mail!
It has quite a number of known bugs, some quite serious, and it did NOT work for me while the list was "known broken" for Eudora. Neither did the two other plugins that were suggested on-line to solve the problem.
But as John said, he was able to implement a server-side fix that does work, so as of about 16 Sept., 2200 UTC the list has been Eudora-clean.
