I guess the question that comes to me is why is cloudflare free?

I understand why Didier does what he does for free, he's giving
back by serving a community to which he is a member. But what
is cloudflare getting in return for paying for the rent, hardware,
backbone, and electricity?

All,

There’s an apache plugin that allows you to get the statistics from cloudflare
on
each hit. Take a look at mod_cloudflare
(https://www.cloudflare.com/resources-downloads)

I use it, works great. AND, they just announced yesterday that they have free
SSL
now. =)

I would imagine with your site, cloudflare will greatly reduce your bandwidth,
and
prevent other abusive behavior (like hotlinking). =)

Let us know!
