Hi One of the classic ways to kill most of the 53xx boxes is to put a DC voltage on the input with the attenuator set to zero. 5335’s very much did not like a 5V level on the input. I spent more money replacing front end boards than I did on the counters when we bought them. I never looked to see if the 5370 shared that “feature” or not. I also never tried overloading mine.
