Chris, I'm not in my shop right now but I think it is a standard cable. Don't recall needing a 'null modem' cable for the TBolt. I needed one for the Z3816A.

The Starloc used a DB9 female to female null modem cable but I noticed a minute ago when getting ready to connect the Thubderbolt to my laptop that the Thunderbolt has a female DB9 connector. So the question is do I need a gender changer in order to use my existing null modem cable, or does the thunderbolt use a standard M-F serial cable? Thanks.
