What is the resolution of the digital pot that sets that frequency? If I can remember the same setability issue can be seen in the 8920A.
In the data sheet for this machine, HP only cites temperature and aging specs for the option 001 oscillator and states "+/- 1 Hz plus timebase accuracy" for frequency measurements.
